Table Saw Blades:

Rip Cut Blade:

Saw Fence:

Step 1: Gather the materials and cut the pieces

We use most commonly top-quality nine-play, but any flat plywood which has smooth faces will work. The riskiest parts of the construction are cutting runners because it slides smoothly in the tracks and it will get the fence perfectly square to the blade. Step:2 Cut and assemble the runners and base

The next thing you will do with the fence is that you will cut the runners from the hardwood strips. If you have the miter gauge slots of ¾-inch, then use sand or plane a hardwood board of 1×3, till it mixes easily in the slots. Then you have to rip the strips from the 1×3 that are about 1/16 inch thinner. Let the glue set for about 20 minutes.

Then remove the glue from the saw and remove the remaining glue from the edges to the top and bottom of the base. You’ll also have to clean out all glue that has gone into the strip slots. Slide it back and forth in the slots.  If the sled doesn’t slide easily, look into the runners for darkened regions in which the metallic has rubbed at the timber.

Use spray adhesive to connect a chunk of 80-grit sandpaper to a square-edged block of timber and sand the darkened regions to take away a bit of timber. Repeat this procedure till the sled slides freely.

Step 3: Add the stiffener and square the fence
